The Youth Advisory Board (YAB) gives teens and young adults an active role informing and improving Youth Services of Tulsa's programs.
Youth Services of Tulsa (YST) is a community based nonprofit in downtown Tulsa, with offices in Broken Arrow, and Owasso. YST serves youth ages 12-24 in four key areas: Runaway and Homeless Services, Counseling, Delinquency Prevention, and Youth Development.

Ideal Candidates for Youth Advisory Board are:
Between the ages of 15-22
Engaged, active, and present
Interested in developing leadership skills
Enjoys collaborative team environments
Eager to serve as an ambassador for YST
Passionate about helping youth in crisis
Enthusiastic about elevating youth voice through peer connections, and community outreach.
Participants are expected to model YST's core values:

Youth-Driven: Partner with youth and rely on their voice and insight to guide our work.
YAB candidates are expected to attend twice-monthly meetings on Thursday evenings from 6:00-7:30 pm.
Additional meetings may be called periodically by YAB facilitators
for special projects.
