Current Job Opportunities:

Street Outreach Specialist

Applications are being accepted for a full time Street Outreach Specialist to provide support to homeless youth, ages 16-24, by working in Youth Service’s drop-in center, conducting outreach on the street, and working with area schools and community partners. Position requires some work-related experience with homeless youth.

Housing Coordinator

formerly TLP Coordinator

The Housing Coordinator trains and supports TLP Case Managers and coordinates and monitors services to ensure both program and client goals are being met.  Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience is required for this position. Master’s Degree in social services field strongly preferred. Two years supervisory experience preferred.

Housing Case Manager

formerly Transitions Case Manager

The Housing Case Manager provides supportive services, referrals, and advocacy to young adults transitioning to independent living.  An equivalent of education and experience working with at risk young adults is recommended and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science is highly preferred. Case Management Certification is strongly preferred. 

Health Services Specialist

Applications are being accepted for a Health Services Specialist to ensure youth access needed healthcare services, including sexual and reproductive health and family planning services. The Health Services Specialist will provide inclusive and trauma informed case management to assist young people in accessing clinic services, understanding medical recommendations & follow-up services to improve their overall health and well-being. This position will remove barriers by assisting with transportation, accompanying youth to appointments, providing application assistance and advocating to providers.  The Health Services Specialist also provides group and individual education on a wide range of health topics, including STI and HIV prevention, and one-to-one health risk assessments used to guide young people in learning about themselves and recognizing their health care needs. A Bachelor’s degree in Health, Social Science, or an equivalent is preferred for this position. Bilingual preferred.

Employment & Education Coordinator

Trains and supports Employment & Education Specialists and Social Enterprise Specialists; coordinators and monitors services to ensure program and client goals are being met. Responsible for overall management and success of YST’s Social Enterprise, T-Town Tacos.

Adolescent Health Specialist

This position promotes sexual and reproductive health and pregnancy prevention by replicating multiple evidence-based interventions, with fidelity, in a variety of settings including YST programs, area school districts, and community-based organizations.   The position is also responsible for making referrals to meet additional needs of participants and identifying potential partner organizations who could serve as an implementation setting. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Some evening hours are required

Housing Specialist

The Housing Specialist facilitates safe, stable housing for homeless youth participating in YST’s housing services.  Bachelor’s degree in Social Science field or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience is preferred for this position.  Case management experience preferred.
