Violence Interrupter
Cure Violence is a public health program that works to stop shootings and save lives. Violence Interrupters are trusted community members who help prevent violence before it happens. They build relationships, look for signs of conflict, and step in to calm things down. The Violence Interrupter helps youth and young adults make positive choices, avoid retaliation, and find support and services that can change their lives for the better. The goal of this job is to stop violence, promote peace, and strengthen the community. Shelter Youth Specialist – Male (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
We are currently accepting applications for a Male Youth Specialist to work in our Emergency Shelter. This is a full-time position with scheduled hours Wednesday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
The Youth Specialist will provide direct care and supervision to shelter clients, model appropriate behavior, and empower youth to make positive choices, improve behavior, and access community resources.
Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent is required; Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

Minimum of 2 year’s experience working with youth

Must have and maintain a valid Oklahoma driver’s license

Housing Case Manager
Applications are being accepted for a Housing Case Manager to provide supportive services, referrals, and advocacy to young adults transitioning to independent living. This position also assures clients are aware of available services through YST programming/community partnerships and to help them access services and mainstream benefits, and to build relationships necessary to assist young adults in attaining their individualized goals.
An equivalent of education and experience working with at risk young adults is recommended and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science is highly preferred. Case Management Certification is strongly preferred. Applications with resume accepted until the position is filled. EOE.
Street Outreach Specialist
We are currently accepting applications for a Street Outreach Specialist to provide supportive services to young adults ages 16-24 who are experiencing homelessness. The Specialist will work in our drop-in center, conduct outreach in the community, and collaborate with partner organizations. This is a full-time position with scheduled hours Monday through Friday.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Science field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience is preferred.

Shelter Case Coordinator
We are currently accepting applications for a Shelter Case Coordinator to work in our Emergency Shelter. The Case Coordinator will facilitate case management activities to ensure stable placement and accurate data collection; serve as a liaison with community partners, such as DHS and OJA; provide oversight and support to Youth Specialists through staffing, modeling, and directives to ensure optimal client care.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience is required for this position. Master’s Degree in Social Services field strongly preferred.

Must have and maintain a valid OK state driver’s license

Prefer minimum of 4 years’ experience in counseling youth and families

Prefer minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
