Current Job Opportunities:

Street Outreach Specialist

Applications are being accepted for a full time Street Outreach Specialist to provide support to homeless youth, ages 16-24, by working in Youth Service’s drop-in center, conducting outreach on the street, and working with area schools and community partners. Position requires some work-related experience with homeless youth. Applications accepted until position is filled.  EOE.  

Shelter Coordinator

Applications are being accepted for a Full-Time, Shelter Coordinator for the Emergency Youth Shelter.  Bachelor’s degree in Human Services field or equivalent years of related experience working with adolescents is required.  Master’s degree and supervisory experience are preferred.  Hours are Saturday – Tuesday 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Part-Time Shelter Youth Specialist - Female

Applications are being accepted for a Part Time Female Youth Specialist to work in the Emergency Shelter.  The hours for this position will be Friday & Saturday 3pm-9pm or 5pm-10pm.  This position requires an associate’s degree in human services or related field or 6-12 months related experience or training.  Bachelor’s degree and experience working with adolescents is preferred.  Applications with resume accepted until the position is filled.  EOE.  

Health Services Specialist

Applications are being accepted for a Health Services Specialist to ensure youth access needed healthcare services, including sexual and reproductive health and family planning services. The Health Services Specialist will provide inclusive and trauma informed case management to assist young people in accessing clinic services, understanding medical recommendations & follow-up services to improve their overall health and well-being. This position will remove barriers by assisting with transportation, accompanying youth to appointments, providing application assistance and advocating to providers.  The Health Services Specialist also provides group and individual education on a wide range of health topics, including STI and HIV prevention, and one-to-one health risk assessments used to guide young people in learning about themselves and recognizing their health care needs. A Bachelor’s degree in Health, Social Science, or an equivalent is preferred for this position. Bilingual preferred.
