Director of Crisis Services
Applications are being accepted for a Director of Crisis Services. This position will Direct overall Shelter operations and SafePlace programs through the development of a program model designed to meet the needs of youth in our community and a staff which has the skills to effectively deal with youth in crisis and create an atmosphere of safety and respect. Master’s degree in Social Science field or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience is required for this position. LCSW, LPC, LMFT professional accreditation/license preferred or under supervision for licensure. Must have and maintain a valid OK state driver’s license. Minimum of 5 years experience in residential services, juvenile management required. Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience preferred. Housing Coordinator
Applications are being accepted for a Housing Coordinator. This position trains and supports Housing Case Managers; coordinates and monitors services to ensure program and client goals are being met. Education requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience is required; Master’s Degree in social services field strongly preferred. Must have and maintain a valid OK state driver’s license. Four years’ experience working with youth and families preferred, two years’ supervisory experience preferred. Housing Case Manager
Applications are being accepted for a Housing Case Manager to provide supportive services, referrals, and advocacy to young adults transitioning to independent living. This position also assures clients are aware of available services through YST programming/community partnerships and to help them access services and mainstream benefits, and to build relationships necessary to assist young adults in attaining their individualized goals.
An equivalent of education and experience working with at risk young adults is recommended and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science is highly preferred. Case Management Certification is strongly preferred. Applications with resume accepted until the position is filled. EOE.
Community-Home Based Counselor
Applications are being accepted for a Community-Home Based Counselor. This position serves adolescents that may be involved with the juvenile justice system. Assists adolescents & their families resolve presenting issues and/or problems, improve communication, develop appropriate skills and enhance overall functioning through therapeutic intervention including family, individual counseling. Master’s degree in Social Science field or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience is required for this position. LCSW, LPC, LMFT professional accreditation/license or eligible for licensure supervision required. Must have and maintain a valid OK state driver’s license. Minimum of 2 years experience working with adolescents and families preferred. Bilingual preferred but not required. Applications with resume will be accepted until position is filled. EOE.
Part-Time Coffee House Specialist
Applications are being accepted for a Part-Time Coffee House Specialist to assist with organizing and operating the weekly Youth Services Coffee House and other Youth Activity Center programming, including distribution of promotional materials and information. Shelter Youth Specialist
Applications are being accepted for a Female Youth Specialist to work in the Emergency Shelter. The hours for this position will be Friday & Saturday nights, 3pm-11pm. This position requires an associate's degree in human services or related field or 6-12 months related experience or training. Bachelor's degree and experience working with adolescents is preferred.
