Shelter Youth Specialist - Male

Applications are being accepted for a Full Time Male Youth Specialist to work in the Emergency Shelter.  The hours for this position will be 3pm-11pm.  This position requires an associate’s degree in human services or related field or 6-12 months related experience or training.  Bachelor’s degree and experience working with adolescents is preferred.  Applications with resume accepted until the position is filled.  EOE.   

Shelter Youth Specialist - Female 11pm - 7am

Applications are being accepted for a Female Youth Specialist to work in the Emergency Shelter.  The hours for this position will be Friday & Saturday nights, 11pm-7am.  This position requires an associate’s degree in human services or related field or 6-12 months related experience or training.  Bachelor’s degree and experience working with adolescents is preferred.  Applications with resume accepted until the position is filled.  EOE.

Health Services Specialist

Applications are being accepted for a Health Services Specialist to ensure youth access needed healthcare services, including sexual and reproductive health and family planning services. The Health Services Specialist will provide inclusive and trauma informed case management to assist young people in accessing clinic services, understanding medical recommendations & follow-up services to improve their overall health and well-being. This position will remove barriers by assisting with transportation, accompanying youth to appointments, providing application assistance and advocating to providers.  The Health Services Specialist also provides group and individual education on a wide range of health topics, including STI and HIV prevention, and one-to-one health risk assessments used to guide young people in learning about themselves and recognizing their health care needs. A Bachelor’s degree in Health, Social Science, or an equivalent is preferred for this position. Bilingual preferred.

Adolescent Health Coordinator

Applications are being accepted for an Adolescent Health Coordinator. The Coordinator provides day-to-day program and staff supervision, monitors fidelity and quality of program delivery, and ensures data collection.  The Coordinator works with community partners to recruit participants, schedules and conducts classes.  This position serves as a resource to the schools and other organizations and groups on issues of teen health and connects youth and their families to the appropriate resources.  

Re-Entry Case Manager

Applications are being accepted for a Re-Entry Case Manager to assist adjudicated youth and young adults in the development of skills and resources necessary to foster positive changes in behavior, attitude, and social relationships through targeted case management services.  A Bachelor’s degree in Social Science field or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience, including lived experience with the justice system is preferred for this position.  Case management experience and a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with youth and/or young adults.  Must have and maintain a valid OK state driver’s license. Adolescent Health Education Specialist

Applications are currently being accepted for an (Adolescent) Health Education Specialist.  This position promotes sexual and reproductive health and pregnancy prevention by replicating multiple evidence-based interventions, with fidelity, in a variety of settings including YST programs, area school districts, and community-based organizations.   The position is also responsible for making referrals to meet additional needs of participants and identifying potential partner organizations who could serve as an implementation setting. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Some evening hours may be required.  Applications with resume will be accepted until the position is filled.  EOE.
