Cohort 6 of YST’s Youth Advisory Board (YAB) launched in October. This energetic group of young people assumed the responsibility of helping YST refine its programs and services with feedback from a youth perspective, while also serving as ambassadors to our community. In turn, YST helps YAB members develop their leadership and teambuilding skills while exposing them to important topics such as youth homelessness, mental health challenges, and the social safety nets in place to help youth in crisis.
“I am so proud of these young people who share their time and expertise to help their peers, while continuously striving to model YST’s core values in their own lives and through their work on the YAB,” said Brian Young, Community Relations Coordinator and advisor to the YAB. Many of these youth lead extraordinarily busy lives, which makes their dedication to YST all the more inspiring.

Members of the YAB include Caroline Briggs, Evan Burns, Estrella Dominguez,
Thomas Espinosa, Paytin Ginn, Georgia Gleason, Yolanda Guerrero,
Brandon Hawkins, Ivan Herrera, Marley Hutchins, Alexa Rodriguez,
Lily Stuckey, Maya Woods, Mia Woods, and Racheal Yadon.

I love seeing young people given a voice instead of a symbolic seat at the table. This board feels meaningful because it connects leadership, community service, mental health awareness, and support for youth facing homelessness or crisis. I also think early conversations about coping skills and wellbeing matter more than ever, especially when prevention can change a life before addiction takes hold. That is one reason I keep an eye on resources like Canadian Centre for Addiction, where recovery, aftercare, and mental health support are treated as part of the same journey. Youth-led spaces like this can shape healthier futures.
Inspiring to see YST empowering young leaders to make a real impact in the community. Supporting youth wellbeing and confidence both mentally and through self-care options like Hydrafacial Houston truly helps young people thrive.

It’s inspiring to see YST’s Youth Advisory Board stepping up with fresh ideas and energy. Initiatives like these show how important it is to invest in long-term well-being, whether it’s through empowering youth or maintaining personal health. Just like regular dental cleaning Magnolia keeps our smiles strong, efforts like this keep communities thriving.
Meet Cohort 6 of YST’s Youth Advisory Board (YAB), launched in October! These youth leaders help refine YST programs and grow their leadership skills while addressing issues like mental health and homelessness—amplifying young voices for real impact. Just like Lip Fillers Redondo Beach enhances confidence, YST empowers youth to lead with purpose. Their work is shaping a brighter, more inclusive future for all.
