Youth staying at our Adolescent Emergency Shelter didn’t let a pandemic stop them from showing their Halloween spirit this year. Supplied with a variety of chalk and decorations, youth drew their vision for Halloween on doors throughout the shelter. From ghosts and ghouls to witches and brooms, the Shelter was outfitted with a variety of spooky decor.
And speaking of Halloween, what better way of celebrating than getting to make some gooey slime! Youth worked with staff to create the messiest slime they could to help slime a
director at YST! In the weeks leading up to Halloween, YST hosted fundraising jars in our lobby benefitting the Tulsa Area United Way. Staff members and clients who visited our lobby could vote with coins on which YST Director they would like to see slimed!
With a staggering lead, and 50% of all votes, Craig Henderson, our Director of Counseling Services graciously received a sliming he won’t soon forget. Thanks for being a good sport
and helping raise funds for Tulsa Area United Way!
