Youth Leadership Forum


Deadline for applying to the 2010-2011 Youth Leadership Forum Class was May 14th. Thank you to all who applied. We are looking forward to Class 15!


What is Youth Leadership Forum?

Youth Leadership Forum (YLF), formerly known as Youth LeadershipTulsa, helps high school sophomores and juniors develop and strengthen their leadership skills and introduces them to philanthropy and community action. 

Participants will become active leaders who can truly affect positive change in their communities.  They will discover common interests and goals while learning to appreciate their diverse personalities, talents and values.

Participants meet once a month, September through April, for full-day sessions, 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. 

Monthly topics include:

  • communication
  • conflict resolution
  • teamwork
  • cultural diversity appreciation
  • values identification
  • community needs assessment/
    non-profit visits
  • volunteer work 




Who can participate?
  • Sophomores or juniors in high school. 
  • Approximately 35-40 students will be selected to participate in the program.
