| Shelter

| The shelter is for: |
- Youth ages 12-18
- Youth from the Safe Place program and other Youth Services programs
- Youth from schools, other agencies, their parents, or law enforcement.
- Youth also come to the shelter on their own.

| The shelter is a safe place for youth who find themselves homeless or in danger |
- 24-hour awake staff
- Open 7 days per week, 365 days per year
- A safe place to stay
- Hot meals
- Clothing (if needed)
- Access to school
- The shelter is equipped to house up to 20 youth and includes facilities for teenage parents, if they come with their infants

| The shelter is also: |
- A place for group education and prevention activities, supervised recreation and leisure activities, individual and family counseling (from master's-level educated, professional counseling staff) and access to other needed services
- There is no charge for Youth Services shelter services
