|Gifts of Hope
Thank you for giving the greatest gift of all to Tulsa's at-risk and homeless youth ... Hope.
You, all 170 of you, adopted 375 youth, many of whom would not have received gifts at all. You donated more than $39,000 in in-kind donations, and more than $10,500 in cash, all of which helped make the holidays brighter for our youth.
We could say thank you for your Gifts of Hope a million times, and that would probably be fine. But it's not the same as letting our youth tell you themselves. A gift is a small thing, but it makes a big difference in their lives.
This is Tanner. I just want to thank you for everything you got for me. It made my Christmas a good one. The world needs more people like you because you're an amazing & caring person. I know I don't know you, and you don't know me, but thank you.
Dear new parental guardian,
Thank you so much for all of the gifts you gave me. I cried when I saw them. I was so happy and excited. I even take my new blanket everywhere because I love it so much. Thank you for the 1 lb of candy. I love it all a lot.
PS - I ate all the candy so quick, man.
I appreciate the plates and bed items. The jacket is really cozy. Wish you were here to share the candy with.
My name is Oliver and you have made my holiday season!!! I ride the bus to work every day and have feared the cold. I endlessly appreciate your gifts. I absolutely love Christmas trees and they give me so much hope in my heart. They will make my day today life that much more bearable. And having all my favorite snacks will too!!! I'm wearing the coat right now and it's so warm!!!
With infinite love,
Thank you so much. This is all I am gettting and all I want. I wish there was more people in this world like you and the people that do this. Thanks so much!
